1930s Deco Bent Arm Club Chair
This is one BIG chair… a fine example of a 1930s Deco Bent Arm Chair updated for the modern home covered with a beautiful rich magenta wool fabric. The chair has been stripped back to the solid wood frame and restored using traditional methods and materials. Both the seat and the back have a sprung unit making the chair super comfy (and also very heavy!).The curved arms have been sanded back to reveal the gorgeous oak wood grain and lightly oiled for a natural look. The same treatment has been given to the solid beech legs. Finally, we decided on a bright Magenta wool fabric to bring the chair to life and give it a snug / funky finish.
The chair has an unusually deep seat making it incredibly comfy and accommodating for all sizes.
A perfect fireside chair.. just get yourself a drink, curl up and relax…. Happy days!
