Another vintage classic, the Lurashell Chair by Walter Chenery is a fine example of cutting edge 60s design, pioneering moulded fibre glass furniture.
This example of the Lurashell Chair has a fabulous silhouette, all curves and no hard edges. The extra wide seat is generous enough to sit with your legs curled up by your side or crossed….it’s all good. The high back gives the chair an impressive air and allows you to rest your head back after a long day.
The base of the chair narrows elegantly onto a swivel aluminium base. The fibre glass shell is in good vintage condition with no cracks or splits.
We carried the 60s vibe through to the cover fabric and chose a bold ‘vintage’ style Scandinavian wool, rich in greens, turquoises and blues.
A true 60s icon – yours to own and love
